During my 2 months internship with Mercedes-Benz Auto shop, I gain a lot of knowledge and experience in automotive machine especially in machine troubleshooting method using a STAR-diagnosis tool, and how to fix them. This opportunity gave me a lot of insights on how car system works, and I was actually able to draw much clearer image of how to apply all thermodynamics, heat transfer, controls, and car engine - gear camshaft design, works in real life application.
Attached below are some pictures I took during the internship program.
1. Fixing a broken transmission box.
2. Outer shell of car main engine
3. Broken engine piston shaft due to car exposure to flood.
4. Car multimedia central processing unit control system.
5. Turns out opening up the car engine "heart" system takes a lot of energy and thinking! But it was also super fun at the same time. Feels like a machine/robotic surgeon experience. Car and human apparently have some similarity on how they operate... interesting :)
